“To Annotate” is an interactive book club on Fable, a free to use app and book tracker.
Once a month, we can read and annotate a book together, posting thoughts, reflections, discussion comments and more on the selected book.
The book of January is Persuasion by Jane Austen, and next month’s will be The Prince by Niccolò Machiavelli. If you have a suggestion for the book club book of the month, join “To Annotate” and leave a comment!
Most books will be classical or poetry, though some might be modern fiction as well. Genres will range from historical to fantasy, so if those interest you, join and annotate with us!
Every week, we’ll read a set number of chapters, anywhere from 40 to 100 pages, and I’ll post my reflections on them first. If you have thoughts to add, feel free to keep the discussion going.
We’ll be discussing themes, characters, literary devices, plot revelations, and other topics related to literature and the selected book.
I’ll give as much feedback as I can that you can either write for your own annotations, or add onto for some of your own thoughts or reflections.
Questions will be answered, so this is a good opportunity to see my annotation process and go along with me.
Exclusive guides to how you can annotate with me will also be given, some tips that I won’t be sharing to Instagram (@literqry).
